About:
It's a Fire Emblem Tactics style-game, where you play as the villain Jack, a mind-controlling slaver. Hypnotize others mid-battle, get them to do your bidding, and take revenge on the heroes who have taken everything from you.

Next steps April 2023:

Basically, three big things happened:
1. WaifusAndSyrup is part of the team now. It's been a pleasure working with them for the past several months.

2. kamen_writer_mc pulled through and wrote some scenes, including Yuri's Self-Conditioning, which had lain unwritten for a very long time.

3. Together with WaifusAndSyrup, finished up a pretty detailed roadmap, stretching all the way to end of the game.

There's still plenty of dev work left to do though!

Last December, there was a change to FANBOX's terms of service:

I was under the impression that these rules targeted live-action and highly-realistic works - not fictional ones - but it appears I was mistaken. I received notice that a few of my posts were under review.

As a result, I need to take the following steps:
1) I am removing as many banned tags, keywords, and text references as I am able.
2) I am censoring certain cover images to comply with the Terms of Service.
3) In case my account remains suspended or banned, I would also like to offer this game at SubscribeStar (for English speakers) at subscribestar.adult/slv-quest , and Ci-en (for Japanese speakers) at ci-en.dlsite.com/creator/19661.
4) I do not know when/if their Terms of Service will change again, so I encourage you to migrate there once the new pages are officially confirmed. In the future, I will continue to post free news updates and polls here, but I may have to offer early access, downloads, and other subscriber benefits elsewhere.

In the worst case, remember that I will always offer this game for free! If all else fails, you will be able to find updates to the game at the following locations:

Not 100% sure, but a lot of big names were hit. xenon3134, close_rim_open, etlabsotwe... I'm sure there's more I don't know about.

From their TOS changes:
Currently, pixiv has confirmed the presence of items posted for sale to our services that contain live-action elements in violation of public order and standards of decency, or are in violation of our company's Terms of Use, or the regulations of international credit card brands.

If you only do "cute" / SFW hypnosis maybe you might get away with it? Whatever makes the credit card companies happy, I guess.

No, it is not. It's just taking me a while to figure out some programming stuff related to the game. That, and life has been busy.

Sorry for the the lack of communication. I want to offer progress updates when I have tangible results to show you, but a lot of important work in coding has nothing that's easily visible.

Hey, found the game here, currently running my first play though. The map with the two knights flanking you on the road is really shutting me down hard, though. I cant marionette the knights OR eliminate them, and I feel like I missed a tip for beating them in the dialogue.

Any tips on how to beat this part?

General strategy tips:

0. Recruit all the units from the previous stage & buy enough items.

1. Hypnosis & Marionette are very powerful: you spend one turn to take away 2-5 of your opponents' turns. And did you notice you can counterattack with Hypnosis on their turn?

Specific tactics:

2. You don't need to hypnotize/marionette the knights to win. You just need to minimize getting hit by them while generating enough tempo advantage to overwhelm their squads.

3. Your enemies can walk through each other, but not if you're on the other side. Use them as your shields!

Hello. I've been checking this game for updates daily-ish for around three years now. Despite the lack of content, it's one of my favourites along with games like No Haven, Adventure High and Monline. I didn't volunteer when you were looking for helpers before because it seemed you were more in need of writers and artists, and I can't commit to spending time on this regularly. However, if you are having programming difficulties, I may be able to help. I don't have any familiarity with SRPG Studio, but I have a not-insignificant background in programming things that aren't games, and I don't doubt that I can pick up what I need to.

That aside, may I ask what's going on with the SubscribeStar page? You seem to have been in an approval deadlock for months.

Thank you, that's very gracious of you. I'm a software developer myself, so I'm not having any programming difficulties.

I've mentioned this before, but the codebase I inherited had some tech debt that dearly needed to be paid, so what I needed was both the time and energy to investigate SRPG Studio's extensive plugin ecosystem. I could only do that superficially up until recently.

I've made great strides this past month, but thank you for your kind offer anyways!

That's on me. I haven't made it a priority to contact Subscribestar and get the page running. I mean, even if I did, what would I put there? I have no new content that can't be already be accessed from the FANBOX or from Ci-En.

I'd like to have the page running sometime soon though. Maybe the next 2-4 months? It'll be ready in time for a meaty update.

Okay, thanks. I hope for the game's future success.

A lot of people conclude the game is dead because of the slow update cycle. It doesn't help that the Fanbox page has been scrubbed and SubStar just shows an approval notice. (This forum thread seems like the only reliable way to work out what's going on, but it's not very visible.) If you care about that sort of thing, people might be less quick to conclude the game is dead if the SubStar page is running, even without updates. I've also heard SubStar can be quite slow with this sort of thing, so you might want to get it going so you don't get bottlenecked.
