Some of the pictures I see are beyond the size of my screen. Is there a way to shrink them so I can see them better?

The setting is under 'My Account' - > 'Options' -> 'Original Images'. Change it to 'Default behaviour (show notification)' or 'Disable notification' to always get the generated jpeg sized for your screen instead of the original image.
