8:40 - My cousins daughter had an aneurysm rupture while they were out having dinner (if they had been home, she probably wouldn't have lived) and after recovery, she was left with only half her vision. She is blind to the left of center in both eyes. This now makes sense to me.

Thank you. The animation is very good. The diction of the narrator voice is crisp and precise; albeit a British accent. The information disseminated is educational and interesting. I would prefer that the text be shown for a little longer span of time, to allow my feeble brain to incorporate it with the illustration and verbiage.

I don't think so. There will be a lot of reasons why photoreceptors have been placed beneath all other layers :)
